I've gotten a little behind on blogging, so hopefully I can catch up before the moments pass too quickly!

For instance, I'm not quite done with Roxy's 5 month baby update and she'll be turning 6 months in a couple of weeks! That is HALF A YEAR people! Time waits for no one.

Anyway, I just wanted to quickly talk about our four year anniversary! Man, I cannot believe it's been four years already. We've had so many ups and downs and twists and turns, but we are still stronger and happier than ever. The sweet thing about this anniversary is that we have a new member of our family.. our precious baby girl. Since Cam took the day off, we were able to spend the whole morning together as a little family. We had a yummy breakfast at home and went out to shop for a few things. It was a real treat!

That afternoon, my sweet sister-in-law was able to watch baby girl for us while Cam and I went to Salt Lake. We were trying to make the 3:00 session at the Salt Lake Temple, but with Roxy's feeding and trying to put her down for a nap before with left (plus traffic/parking downtown Salt Lake), we didn't quite make it in time.

We were so sad, but I had a strong feeling that we needed to do sealings. It ultimately ended up being amazing because they let us sit in the Celestial room while we waiting for them to gather enough people for sealings and then find our exact same room we were sealed in four years ago. It was beautiful to reminisce every detail of our wedding day. I remember it so well. Aside from Roxy's birth, it was the most spiritual day of our lives, and I'm so grateful that we were able to go back to that heavenly place and hear those covenants again. Needless to say, I'm glad we were late for that session.

After we did sealings, we walked around Temple Square and took some pictures. It's amazing how time can change so many things... how we look. How we think about life.. But this temple still stood just as magnificent and peaceful as it did on July 30th four years ago. No matter how much our love and family grows, it will always take us back to that one moment in time.

By this point it was close to our dinner reservation at the Roof! We did this once for our anniversary before, and we love it. Mostly for the view and the fancy atmosphere. We had so much fun sipping our Italian sodas and laughing about ALL the years together. Cameron and I go way back. We've known each other since we were kids and it's so fun to me that our conversations about growing up and life just never get old. We love laughing about old times. The awkward moments of high school and the crazy adventures of college. We also gushed and gushed about our baby girl. How much we love her. How much we missed her already. And how we just couldn't believe that she was OURS.

Happy Four Year Anniversary to my forever and ever!
